Welcome to Lisam Regulatory Academy (LRA), an eLearning platform designed to bring a full range of education and training resources to Lisam customers and employees, as well as to occupational health & safety professionals, authors of chemical security documentation, professionals involved in classification and chemical control regulations, or even, new recruits to companies needing a quick start to understanding toxicological terms. LRA can be a valuable asset for young professionals as they progress in their careers or for professionals in need to refresh skills.
Platform Organization
LRA is an online platform hosted in Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environmental (MOODLE) composed of three educational formats: LRA-E with focus on softwares (ExESS and PubliChem) basic and advanced training, with free access for Lisam customers; LRA-R with focus on regulatory and academic eLearning, available for hiring; and free webinars discussing issues related to chemical regulation, available to anyone who signs up for the platform
How
LRA-E addresses frequently asked questions of users with 5-minute training videos, promoting the understanding of ExESS and PubliChem softwares and its functionalities. Both softwares with customization possibilities to meet the user’s needs and updated guidance material.
LRA-R consists of 5-hour courses, continuously updated to reflect the latest regulatory needs. Each course is divided into 15-minute video lesson modules, aiming to develop and broaden the professional knowledge on subjects related to GHS, toxicology, occupational health, transportation of dangerous goods, and other relevant topics.

Maurea Flynn, the academic Director, is a biologist with PhD in Aquatic Science and Ecotoxicology, and has a long experience in research, consulting and teaching on Environmental Engineering and Environmental Technology College Courses. Composing
the multidisciplinary team, all Lisam regulatory experts on 23 different countries around the world.
